Gov. Tony Evers on Wednesday signed into law the state’s 2023-25 budget, leaving intact its Medicaid rate increases and using his veto authority to strike a proposal barring Medicaid coverage of gender-affirming care.

Hundreds of veterans misdiagnosed at Tomah VA

Around 600 veterans had their neurological conditions misdiagnosed by a now-terminated doctor at the Tomah Veterans Affairs Medical Center, according to a Tuesday statement from Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis.
