DHS projects early Medicaid surplus for biennium
One quarter into the new biennium, the Department of Health Services is projecting that the Medicaid program will finish the period with a $5.1 million surplus. But agency officials caution that the estimate is “very preliminary and will continue to evolve” over the next two years.
