The future of Medicaid is in flux. The state is unwinding a pandemic-fueled continuous enrollment policy that added hundreds of thousands to the rolls over the past three years. Meanwhile, lawmakers are debating a slew of changes to the program ranging from additional coverage for new mothers to work requirements for childless adults.
A panel of experts will outline what’s next for Medicaid at a Wisconsin Health News Panel on May 9.
Panelists:
- Joanne Alig, Senior Vice President of Public Policy, Wisconsin Hospital Association
- Alex Ignatowski, Director of State Budget and Government Reform, Institute for Reforming Government
